It’s the details that make a holiday. A modern Fiji transport is a lot like a modern cellphone. When everything’s running smoothly you take for granted what it does for you, but as soon as something goes wrong it can ruin your whole travel experience! Feejee Experience is a very green Fiji bus service. Our bright green buses are moving icons to the local Fijians and turn heads wherever they go. Because they are well maintained and emit low emissions, they’re also greener for the environment.
Our drivers and guides are experts at showing off Fiji, but their first priority is the safety of you and the vehicle. That is why we purchased 2 custom built buses for Feejee Experience as well as other European designed and engineered buses with a long history and strong reputation for quality (no dodgy imports or cabins stuck on trucks here). Before our drivers and guides are put on Feejee Experience each and every of them must also be go through a licensing, first aide, and company training program to ensure the utmost safety of you, our passenger, on the back roads of beautiful Fiji.
Big windows that can be open for fresh air or just kept close to enjoy the nice cool air-conditioning, high viewing seats, arm rests, new fittings, modern sound systems, and plenty of secure storage space for your bags are all include in your Fiji transportation on Feejee Experience. Smooth suspension, comfy seats, leg room and a quiet engine are also favorites with passengers after a hard day of adventuring. Even though you only have to spend 2 hours at most at a time on the bus, we figure it should be comfortable and add to the experience, not ruin it.
Having our vehicles custom built and European made means lower emissions, but we don’t think that’s going far enough so once a week our buses are properly serviced in our yard. The Land Transport Authority (LTA) of Fiji also checks our buses for environmentally friendly emissions. It helps too that Feejee Experience buses are less carbon emission per passenger than most Fiji transportation. Our Fijian guides and drivers love our country, so you’ll also see them ensuring all rubbish onboard is disposed of correctly.
Our buses are either Volvo or customer built, which is ideal to the conditions here. They call it a Fiji adventure for a reason, Fiji’s roads are off the beaten track and that is what makes it so beautiful, but it is important to know that we have the vehicles to get you to that remote beach or village safely.
Feejee Experience 100% owns and operates all of our buses to ensure a consistent customer experience right across the country. We pride ourselves on this, because it means things get fixed and maintenance right away when we say so.
Owning our own service yard and having a quality team of certified mechanics makes running a reliable regular transport service around to the best bits of Fiji a lot easier. It means a smoother journey, less breakdowns and good looking bus to cruise around in.
And finally between every great activity and place is a great time to be had on the bus. Your driver and guide will give commentary at the right times, have the air-conditioning on when you need it, and like a seasoned DJ have the good tunes playing through the speakers. There’s always plenty going on too with laughs, games, and stories being told. All of this contributes to a great on-the-bus atmosphere and adds to the amazing journey you’ll have on Feejee Experience.
